Wedding Ceremony Music In Cranberry Township & PittsburghIf your wedding ceremony is the most meaningful part of your day, then you will want to speak with Gerra Gembarosky about your ceremony music. What she does is unique to the Pittsburgh, Cranberry Township, South Hills, Butler, Oakmont, Mars, Canonsburg, Bridgeville, and surrounding areas. Her goal is to make your guests talk about your wedding music for years to come!

Gerra is a professionally-trained pianist and vocalist who holds two degrees from Duquesne University School of Music. She has performed for hundreds of wedding ceremonies all over the United States. Garden and on-site wedding ceremonies are her specialty, even though she has provided music for many church services in all faiths.

Imagine hearing trumpets, violins, harps, and a grand piano at your wedding ceremony, and only having to hire one person to do it all!  Through the magic of technology, you can have all these wonderful ‘musicians’ at your disposal. Her two Yamaha keyboards provide these beautiful sounds –the perfect accompaniment to Gerra’s voice. In addition, her husband, Michael will be your wedding ceremony coordinator, ensuring that all goes perfectly! (No extra charge—it’s a package deal!). Gerra's "thank you" notes always praise Michael for organizing everyone so beautifully and effortlessly. If your wedding rehearsal didn’t go so well, or left some questions unanswered, don’t worry - Michael will make your ceremony stress-free. Just relax, enjoy the moment, and let Michael guide you through the service. That’s what he does best!

Repertoire. That’s an important one!  Gerra has collected the most beautiful songs for ceremonies. Once you hear these somewhat unfamiliar songs, you will soon realize what a treasure they are. Most brides appreciate that their ceremony music won’t be the ‘same old same old.’ Many of the comments that we get are about how great the selections were, and how ‘fresh’ they sounded. They are also amazed that one musician was able to provide such versatility.

Musical Instruments. In a church, Gerra uses the organ mainly for processional and recessional, where the trumpets make those two very important parts of the service majestic.   Most of the other song selections are played using the synthesizers. A combination of beautiful instrumental sounds (harps, trumpets, grand piano) on the Yamaha keyboards makes every piece unique.

Garden/Outdoor Ceremonies. Weather. Weather. Weather. You can read Gerra's article on planning an outdoor event on pittsburghwedding.com. You must have a Plan B. Looking back at all of the garden ceremonies that I’ve done, only a couple needed to be brought indoors. Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

Wedding Ceremony Musicians In Pittsburgh PAGarden ceremonies can be a challenge, but they’re certainly the most fun!  She uses a state-of-the-art PA system and sets up a wireless microphone for the Officiant. When it’s time to say the vows, the microphone is turned towards the bride and groom so that the guests can hear the most important words that are spoken all day!

They arrive at all their ceremonies about 3 hours in advance. This gives them enough time to do everything - from the first note to the last note - to perfection. Michael  reviews the order of service with the minister so that he/she knows exactly what to expect. Their ceremonies go very smoothly, and that’s because nothing is left to chance.
